Most of the shops are situated around the Town Square, where an outdoor summer market goes on between april and september. Of course, this market is also open during december until Christmas. Even far traveling “hucksters” offer their goods here, creating a lively atmosphere of traditional trade. Drøbak has been a market place for hundreds of years and still keeps up these rich traditions.
