At Nordre Kaholmen at Oscarsborg, there is a quiet and family-friendly guest harbor with room for about 110 boats. This family business is run by Per Otto Hansen and Rita Fredheim. Their daughter Berit is in charge of the daily operations and she was named Harbor Host of the Year 2014 by Båtens Verden. At Oscarsborg, there is a harbor inn centrally located in the guest harbor with outdoor seating right on the water's edge. The inn has become very popular among the boat people. There are also hotels on the fortress with the possibility of accommodation and restaurant visits.
