Torkilstranda, together with Badeparken, are the two largest areas for bathing and sun-licking summer guests.
Here are two small sandy beaches, and long areas with boulders. Here, Galleri Finsrud is located in a beautifully restored industrial building, and there are both toilets and a kiosk. Torkilstranda is a favorite place for young people with windsurfers, and in fresh south wind there can be many fun achievements to watch. Even those who just want to enjoy the summer sun will find a peaceful spot on one of the many clear-cut rocks along the water's edge. The parking lot fills up quickly on hot summer days, but otherwise it is fine with space. Two km to bus connection.
